Open Food PantryIt is our greatest pleasure to announce that Halfway Home Rescue has opened a small food pantry to low income families and those plagued with financial emergencies to help feed dogs and cats in need. Thanks to Chewy.com for their donations of food, we are able to share our bounty with others. Though it is our mission to rescue and re-home animals when they need us, we find it just as helpful to keep animals in their current homes. Often times pet guardians find themselves in a difficult position and forced to make a choice. It is our hope, that we alleviate some of that burden where and when we can. If you, or anyone you know, is in a bind when it comes to feeding their dog or cat, please reach out to us! Transportation is limited, so please be prepared to pick up from these locations:
Steps are being taken to find transport further into Phoenix and surrounding areas, but it is a new project so please bear with us! Also, in your email, please tell us how many pets, species, and any special requirements such as allergies or proteins or age group. We are looking forward to aiding our fellow man and their fur family! |
